How To Make BBQ Sauce

Whenever I get the "craving" for BBQ sauce and I'm at the grocery store looking for one, I find that I leave empty handed because they always have *some* kind of ingredient that doesnt work for me. Not to mention a ton of salt. So now, I just make my own. This makes it easier in several ways: it's cheaper to make it than buy it (especially organic and processed stuff free), it takes all of 5 minutes to whip up and then 10-15 minutes simmering. 

Cheezy Tomato Soup

Vegan MoFo is once again kicking my butt. But really, in my defence, packing and recipe making kindof conflict in matters of time and space. With the movers picking everything up on Saturday, I'll have a better change to get some cooking in to finish up this year's roll with my full 20 posts.

Sunny Hemp Cheeze

Right now I am feeling like I could sleep for 2 hours. The changing of season to fall is always a bit of a pain for me, with seasonal allergies and alternating cold/warm weather. Although I actually LOVE the fall with the pretty colors and everything pumpkin, I am really looking forward to the weather in BC, which is soooo much more my type of place. What can I say? I am a creature of warm weather and beaches!

Tofu Mayo

I used to be a mayonnaise addict. As in I would put it on almost everything. Once I went vegan, I actually started making my own with the whole olive oil emulsification deal. That was okay for awhile, until I started noticing that the oils weren't as healthy as I thought and I banished it completely from my diet. 

Roasted Onion Hummus

I've had a rather eventful last few days, what with having a very long transit time from Costa Rica back to Ottawa. We're slowly getting settled into our new place but so far it's really going to work out for us. It's a bit of an adjustment being back, going 5 months in a completely different way of living really gives you a new perspective on the way that you've lived your whole life.
