Earth Balance Mac and Cheese Review

Mac and cheese has always been a personal favorite of mine. When I went vegan, I was lucky enough to find a recipe that I adored and was really easy to make. While I now have about 20 different recipes under my belt, I do like to try out the boxed kind that reminds me of being a college student.

Toona Casserole

For months and months, I've heard my partner (who is very much vegan) talk about this weird craving he had for tuna. While this is a totally normal occurence when one has changed their diet and lifestyle from foods they've eaten their entire lives, there are several ways to deal with it. One is to just ignore until it leaves which is does eventually, or make a substitute using whole foods like my chickpea tuno salad. The last is to discover products from compassionate business like Sophie's Kitchen who make alternatives that are cruelty free and vegan.

Simply Delish Soup and Salad Co. Review

I met the lovely gentlemen that owns and operates SImply Delish Soup and Salad Co with his wife at my local farmer's market here in New Westminster where I had a stall advertizing the Secret Dinner Club. He was so nice and talked to me about how his products were all transitionning to being plant-based and gluten free, that by the end of the summer, he'd be 100% transitionned. This is defnitely something that is great to hear!

RestaurantWare Product Review

I was asked recently by RestaurantWare, an awesome eco-friendly company that provides you with both re-usable and disposable tableware, to take a look at their products and post a review of them on here. So welcome to the very first Plates for Plants product review!
