Peach Habanero Hot Sauce

First things first, I LIVE HOT SAUCE. I pretty much put it on everything. There's also something awesoem to opening the fridge and having a large variety to choose from, from the classic Louisiana to Sriracha to this gem Peach Habanero. While I usually buy the first 2 because they generally have simple ingredient lists without any junk or chemicals (The classic Sriracha does, but now there are many to choose from that don't), I love how easy it is to make my own.

Cauliflower Alfredo

Spending the holidays away from home mens cooking a bit less, but with hosts such as we have, it's actually great since we've been eating pretty healthy and keeping up with our choices. It's rare I get to sit back and enjoy just the food without going to a restaurant! It's a welcome break but at the same time it's really giving me the time to organize some great cooking days and make up some recipes to be tested.

Baked Tofu with Red Wine Mushroom Sauce

Gah it's been too long! I was going quite insane with my grant applications and other things involving the personal chef launch things that I just completely forgot to blog. Bad blogger! I also had to bring in my laptop (AGAIN) to get fixed for what I sincerely hope is the last time. So now I can really focus on getting back in the at-least-twice-a-week blogging habit. I'm planning to be doing that in the New Year since we're going to Calgary for a week and a half to celebrate the holidays. Anyone have restaurant recommendations for ...

Cranberry Sauce

I've been having computer issues again. Turns out that the part they initially replaced (aka the entire screen/top part) in order to get my webcam working again didn't actually fix anything. So I brought it in again, wheere they replaced some other part. Now the webcam is working... but theres an issue with the speakers. Which they replaced... but that wasnt the issue. SO now they ordered the piece they think is causing that. All in all, they've replaced over 50% of my computer so far. While my partner who has the exact same compute (but ...

How To Make BBQ Sauce

Whenever I get the "craving" for BBQ sauce and I'm at the grocery store looking for one, I find that I leave empty handed because they always have *some* kind of ingredient that doesnt work for me. Not to mention a ton of salt. So now, I just make my own. This makes it easier in several ways: it's cheaper to make it than buy it (especially organic and processed stuff free), it takes all of 5 minutes to whip up and then 10-15 minutes simmering.
